Joshua sets up online classes for Women's Studies, Criminal Justice, and Philosophy, among others. Working with technology and how it can improve learning or facilitate processes is his major interest area, along with using virtual reality in classrooms, gamification, and technical problem solving. He is part of the Digital Creatives group and the Immersive Penn State committees. Joshua worked at the University Libraries for 10 years and libraries in general for 15 years, with a focus on the technology and learning. He volunteers for the local makerspace and likes to create, be it in wood, plastic, cardboard, music, or anything else.
